  • The desire to finish the oft-postponed upcoming Cure album has prompted the band to postpone it's North American tour scheduled for this fall. They plan to make up the dates in April and May of 2008. Billboard.com has the full story.
  • Fans of The Smiths have a couple of reasons to cry; according to this story on spin.com, Morrisey is once again refuting rumors that The Smiths will reunite. The statement, released by Morrissey, claims he was offered up to $75,000,000 to tour with Johnny Marr, and refused. Morrissey also stated that the final shows of his extensive 2007 tour will be his last "for the foreseeable future."
